When using Audacity, is there any way to merge the left and right channels to effectively make it mono?

E.g. You have the whole song playing through only one speaker.

Sorry if this is confusing, I'll try to clear up a bit more if needed!

Depending on the version you have, you should be able to highlight the audio, go to "Tracks" on the top bar, and click "stereo to mono"
If it's blue, then it MUST smell good.

That, and then just pan the audio to right or left. That seems to work for me.

Ah, thank you so much!

It might have been as simple as just panning it to the left or right, since I believe it pans both audio tracks. I haven't tried it to verify it, but you might.

In the dropdown menu of one track I believe you can select Make Stereo Track.
