D Standard. Basically a whole step down. Nirvana used that tuning in Come as you are. I liked the tuning so I just kept it after playing that song.

Drop C, Drop D, standard, umm... however you tune for the meteora album and of linkin park... i forget which tunings they are... don't ask me how to do these tunings, i go for the lazy way using a chromatic tuner... and a weird tuning for the song 4th of July by soundgarden

no, thats the minutes to midnight album. Meteora, and Hybrid theory have different tunings

My main electric and acoustic are in standard, and I have a customized Ibanez I keep in drop D... I use 1/2 step down and DADGAD (Kashmir baby!) a little, and I know ONE song tht is in DGCGCD.... although for live i'd take it up a step (EADADE), lol, easier to tune on-stage (also helps if, like me, you're lazy and don't wanna completely change tunings before playing)

I really wish I could say you're funny and cool, but that would be like saying Africa doesn't have a poverty problem.

They are? I always thought they were Drop D. Most nu-metal bands are. The only song I thought the didn't tune Drop D was Place For My Head.
