and those are good things, its said to be insanely trebly, which would cut through a mix insanely easy

fantastic lead tone.
great with solidstate or tube amps.
i have it in the bridge of my old fender project guitar (not the strat in my sig) and its amazing.
great for med-highgain.
decents cleans, not amazing, but hell ofalot better than any hot wound humbucker ive ever tried playing clean

I'm plaing a crazy wiring job 2 volumes one Killswitch. and well thats about it really. On second thought its not that crazy.

which could be a good thing, but idk seeing how ive never tried it alone.

Yeah very very trebley.... its one of those things you either love it or hate it. If you like dimebags tone you'll love it. It's not so much for me although I'd use it on a solo or two. I wouldn't want it in my main guitar.

. I am planning on swapping it for a different pickup though sometime this year because it is just too trebley for my taste (especially because my neck pickup is so bassy that the EQ difference is far too much).

Edit: And also I find it way too trebley to use for clean tones.
