My band is going to play a show on Friday and I need help coming up with the right order for the songs.

Lenny Kravitz - American Woman
Traditional - Sweet Home Chicago
Bob Seger - Old Time Rock n' Roll
Jimi Hendrix - Fire
Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child
Lenny Kravitz - Are You Gonna Go My Way
ZZ Top - La Grange
Eric Clapton - Cocaine
George Thorogood - Move It On Over
CCR - Fortunate

also might do Spoonful by Howlin Wolf and an arrangement I came up with for Highway 51 Blues by Bob Dylan (i think its a traditional song)

Any help would be great, if you have any criticism for the set list please let it be the constructive kind.

nice set!

id set it up kinda like this:

La Grange (strong opener, most people know it)
American Woman (Follow it up)
????
????
Voodoo Child
????
Cocaine
????
????
Fire (Da Best)

i dont think the other 5 matter, fills it up for the big ones. but thats just me

thanks for that don't know why I didn't see it. yeah I was thinking ending on one of the hendrix songs for Are You Gonna Go My Way we're really tight on that and the singer sings it well. maybe Voodoo Child into Are You Gonna Go My Way at the end since they're so similar in style.

I'm thinking this:

La Grange
American Woman
Sweet Home Chicago
Fire
Cocaine
Old Time Rock n' Roll
Fortunate Son
Spoonful
Move It On Over
Voodoo Child
Are You Gonna Go My Way

Here's how I would put this together:

Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child
ZZ Top - La Grange
Traditional - Sweet Home Chicago
CCR - Fortunate
Lenny Kravitz - Are You Gonna Go My Way
Jimi Hendrix - Fire
Bob Seger - Old Time Rock n' Roll
George Thorogood - Move It On Over
Eric Clapton - Cocaine
Lenny Kravitz - American Woman

The last two being interchangeable, depending on who your target audience is, younger crowd go with American Woman, older crown go with Cocaine.
