I got my learners permit the other day.

Today I almost took the side view mirror off a cop car. The cop and I stared each other down, and I guess I won cause he went straight back to his donuts and coffee.

Bitch.

what was the 350 out of? If its anything like an old 83 Oldsmobile 307 that I got it will need some larger jets and a bigger fuel pump.

first time i drove by myself i was actually kind of nervous...and ran a stop sign by accident. don't worry, you'll soon learn to be doing the whole "nose goes" thing for driving. while it is definitely a nice privilege, most people kinda forget about it and would rather let somebody else drive if you're going somewhere. but, take away my ability to drive for a week and i would not be happy.

if the carb came with the 350, the jets should be good good for the engine, no?

if not, then yes...you will need bigger jets

I got my permit the other day. I absolutely love driving (when my mom isn't back seat driving.) I inherited my love of cars from my dad who's a big car freak. I'm trying to save up because his wife has a bunch of cars and I wanna buy one from him. I think I'm going to end up getting this ugly ass yellow Scion xb. I love the look of those cars for some reason but the color is disgusting.

I failed the test 3 times

Decided to study the damn book after the 2nd time.

EDIT: permit test that is

Ummm... I just got my level 1 license (AKA permit) on Monday, so I can drive as long as I'm with one of my parents, or a licensed driver above 21 they designate.

here the permit is called a Class CD license.
licenses are class D
motorcycl permits are CM
motorcycle licenses are class M
license for trucks weight over 26,001 pound is class C
cant remember class B
and Class A is a big rig

Class A drivers do not have to take any other test, as they can drive any vehicle on the road that is street legal; as their test includes material from all other tests, and they have to drive all of the vehicles in order to pass

that should have a decent amount of torque for you. You'll need it to push that truck around.

Your going to be paying out the ass for gas tho...

LOL.

I don't drive. The closest thing that I have to a story is when my bus driver ran into a stopsign and over a curb while turning.

officially yes, we use L/100km, but thats a gay way to emasure fuel milage, so most of us convert to MPG, but we use british gallons.

Haha, ironically, I didn't get my license today. I failed the written test.

I passed my drive, then I go take the written. There was two parts, the main part with generic questions and a part with signs. On the main part I got 100%. You could only miss two questions on the signs part.

I missed three.

So yea. I wasn't mad about it or anything. I plan on getting it next week. I'm not in a rush.

First off, I'm old, damn old by U.G. standards. When I was 16 (1981) I took my driven test in southern Alabama in a '76 Olds that was bigger than most boats. The black lady that was evaluating me was so busy checking out the car that she forgot she was testing me, lol. This thing would just float over bumps, it's big 455 cubic inch motor purring like a pussycat. I made sure to have the local soul music station playing too . I'd already had a motorcycle license since the age of 14 so road rules were no big surprise for me. I passed the first time round.
#39
I did all my license and permit things first try no problem driving alone or with friends is much better than with the permit IMO.

I just got $200 worth of new speakers yesterday and installed them next is probably a new stereo and then I'll probably put this extra amp I have lying around in.
