My latest conquest is a MIM Fat Strat.

I feel the stock humbucker isnt giving me the oomph I need.

So....

I need something that can do some good distortion, but be reasonable with cleans as well.

Genres in question are punk, grunge, alternative rock.

A little bit of everything, I guess. Overall increased output, you could say, with good crunch for rock.

Duncan Custom Custom or Dimarzio Norton sounds good from where I'm sat.
