Ok...there's a keeley modded blues driver for sale near me and a TS808 for sale as well.

Which one should i get? i'm really interested in getting john mayer tone from my hot rod deluxe and i know he uses both of the pedals i mentioned. but i also want to get tones from hendrix, SRV, Cream/bluesbreakers, and gary moore. which pedal would be best for all of those? btw the TS808 isn't keeley modded.....

thanks in advance!

i would go with the keeley blues driver because keeley makes fantastic pedals. I have a keeley modded ts-9, and it kicks major ass. The Ts-808 is a pretty good pedal, but really, the Maxon version is much better, but much more expensive. The Keeley Blues Driver is the better pedal for what you want in my opinion.

If they are both in the area, try them. That'll be the only way to know for sure.

Just so you know, I read everything you type in a Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs voice.
