So guys, I have a Fender Frontman 15G, the old one that comes with the kit and plan on getting a Mesa Recto/Mark IV some time in the near future. So my question is do you think its worth to score a 10 band GEQ now for cheaper and then use it with the frontman and then use it with the reto/mark or just wait until I get the Mesa and decide if it needs it?

Do you think it would help at all with my current amp even tho it doesnt have an fx loop?

Yeah true, Im just wondering because if I get a Recto I know its gonna be really useful but for a Mk IV IDK if it is as useful due to the GEQ already present on the amp. Anyone know if the GEQ on the mark IV affects the same section of signal that a GEQ in the FX loop would have?
