In the near future I am going to be making myself a guitar body. I assume it would need to be sealed. My question is, how does one go about doing that? Is it in a spray can or do I have to brush it on? Is it paintable, or what would happen if i just painted the bare wood? I'd like to find a clear paintable sealer that can be sprayed on whether through an air brush or preferably a can. Whats my best bet people?

Thanks!

I would think it's sanding sealer.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
