im trying to focus on playing my acoustic more so i was wondering which bands play alot of acoustic stuff such as alice in chains, eric clapton, dave mathews.....any others would be much obliged.

Try listening to City & Colour, it's Dallas Green from Alexisonfire with an acoustic guitar and his singing. It's pretty simple stuff to play, really fun, but he tunes to Open G and capos 4th. So if you don't fancy all the tuning about then I wouldn't say learn his stuff

Audioslave has some acoustic stuff. Also check out Gregory and the Hawk, but that might be too acoustic, idk what you want...blues, country, etc.
