ok ive seen some different ways to string up an acoustic guitar. what in ur opinion is a really good string tie to do at the tuners? i am a novice keep in mind so nothing too complicated.

This is the pro. way to do it:

Put the string through the tuning peg head so you have a couple of inches free at the frets. Take the end of the string that's through the peg head hole around and underneath the string. Bend it back over the top of the string and holding the slack string at the second fret, start winding. You should end up with about 2 turns on the bottom of the tuning peg. That's all that is required for all strings because the bend over the string holds it well in place. Snip off the excess. No string winders needed and very easy to remove and re-place any string.
