Does anyone know of any "intense" (for lack of a better word) music use in movies? Like in soundtracks and such?
To make it more clear, I'm talking about something like this..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04l3AR44PSI

..the theme from Saw. Something that builds in intensity through the song, especially around 2:15 in that vid. So does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to douse it in a 20/30/50 ratio of mustard/ketchup/horseradish and stroke it as fast as you can untill the mayonaise squirts out. Then consume.

Last of the Mohicans theme, and I agree about Hans Zimmer (try the theme from the rock)
"They say rock n' roll is dead well not while I'm alive it ain't" - Liam Gallagher

"It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors." - Oscar Wilde

watch the movie premonitions. It is really not scary but with the music you kinda get chills.

The Dark Knight has an intense soundtrack.

O Fortuna by Carl Orff.

its pretty much as intense as it gets.

Flam·boy·ant
French, from participle of flamboyer to flame
1:Characterized by waving curves suggesting flames
2:Marked by or given to strikingly elaborate or colorful display or behavior

It may not be a movie soundtrack, but the song "One Winged Angel" from FFVII.

And also Fiddlin' About from Tommy built suspense :P

Terminator 2 and Last of the Mohicans both use amazing music and Saving Private Ryan is very atmospheric as well!!

Oh and any film by Quentin Tarrantino has a cool little guitar tune in it somewhere!!

Iron Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Star Wars movies, and Halo have "intense" scores. A lot of Hans Zimmer's work has a similar feel to it.

The saw theme is by Charlie Clouser.

His best soundtrack is resident evil extinction, I reckon. You should defininitely get it. (the score, not the OST)

Anything by Denali.
The Beginning is the End is the Beginning - Smashing Pumpkins (the remix one, not the original)

EDIT: Oh, you mean things from soundtracks, not things that sound like they could be? Forget this then
