just saw this on ap.net

United Nations' self-titled release will be available on September 9, 2008 through Eyeball Records. The band, much ballyhooed for its inclusion of members from influential groups Thursday and Glassjaw, is described as "[featuring] prominent members of two bands you love, one band you hate and a few you never heard of." Pre-order the album here .

so what's the band that we "hate"?
...Nothing you've ever...
...Planned on ever turned out...
...The way you planned...

...You're still disappointing them...

lmao i like this

"United Nations is a power-violence grind-core band reminiscent of mid- nineties groups such as Orchid and Reversal of Man."

Other artists also involved include Chree from The Number 12 Looks Like You, Cooper of Made Out of Babies and Josh Mihlkek, who is also Thursday’s guitar tech. The other is a dance act from Britain.

I don't know whether thats a joke or not.

theres no way they'll sound grind, pv, or like the above mentioned bands

what makes you say that?
#15
Geoff Rickley and Daryl Palumbo together in the same band may be too much for me to take really. I might explode.
#16
i don't think anything has leaked.
it was only ever a long standing myth that this band would ever release anything. until now that is.

I heard it's grind, so I probably won't like it.

never heard of this project, but it sounds pretty interesting.

a little bit of research reveals they're planning a 7" on deathwish...

Well you guys seem to have mixed reviews, but I think it's pretty awesome. It's probably the kind of thing I could only listen to every once in a while.
