Hey, I currently have a Ibanez SA260FM electric and I continually find that it detunes as i play it (sometimes within a minute or two of playing). Normally it detunes about half a step or more. Ive tried using new strings and fiddling wih some of the screws on the bridge but i cant seem to fix the problem.

anyone know whats causing this.

Yeah, it's because you fail to ask in the right forum.

C'mon, you've been here long enough to know that.

jop, thats probably it^^ or you only tune from to high pitch to lower pitch, try tuning flat to correct^^

I have one of those, and have never had that problem.

So, I have nothing helpful to offer.

In fact, I think I'm gloating a little bit!

**** man, I have the exact model.

And yeah, it detunes quite often if you leave it, but I think that's because I rest the headstock on a lot of stuff, and it turns the machine heads. Just retune it every time, it's a good skill to develop.
