Ok, so i learned the hard way at my last gig that Guitar effects are certainly not for bass, as every song that i used my Big muff on, i had to stop using it halfway through because of the lack of bass and low end in my sound.

But, im in a new band now, and i'm guitarist in some songs when it requiers it (we have a synthist), and i'm curious if my new zoom B2.1u would sound alright on guitar, its just because i only have a big muff and vox wah on guitar and theres a certain song where i'd like a flanger on, and my B2.1u has one.

Cheers guys

Why not just try it out and experiment a little. My mind is telling me it can't sound THAT bad. Plus, you never know, it could give your band an original sound of some sort.

I've heard big muffs be used in metal and it really sounded good, pumped alot out, alittle muddy but no loss of low end, mess around with it alittle more. I'm the last person to say use a distortion pedal on a bass because I think it just sounds terrible, but yeah.
