Hey all.. my Ibanez S470 DXQM has finally arrived, I picked it up 2 days ago and I love it. I have 2 questions though.

1) the bridge squeaks a little bit when I use the whammy bar.. is this normal for new guitars? How should I go about fixing it? It's a ZR (zero resistance) bridge.

and 2) I purchased a new case for it, but it's not very roomy and when I leave the tremolo arm attached and attempt to close the case, the lid pushes the bar down just a little bit.. but enough to depress the strings. It goes down about 0.5inches or so. Is this bad? Should I remove the arm every time I want to put it in the case?

thanks for taking the time to answer.

just use some lube for guitar stuff and it should help with the squeaks, my jackson did that when i got it and after i put some on it never did it again.

Alright thanks for the replies guys

as for the lube/grease, is there anything specific I should look for? How would a little bit of 3 in 1 oil work?
