Hey guys,
I've just got a quick question--does anyone have any neck thickness measurements?
Like, the thickness at the nut and heel of a strat neck, or an LP, whatever you guys have is really greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Also, is a volute used to give extra wood support underneath the truss rod recess? Just need the clarification. It makes sense.

There is no standard neck thickness, it varies.

Volutes are there to strengthen yes.

Also necks are made for preferances.

The more seriously I took things,
The harder the rules became.

I dont really measure neck thickness, I just do it till it feels right. I have found that the bigger the neck the better the tone of the guitar though.
