This thread in The Pit. It started out with Mike.H worrying 'bout something or other and it ended up with people thinking he got killed.
#8
wow. why? just because he never checked the thread?

i'd get the rockerverb, its an amazing amp

I have to agree with him here, it is great. Despite the fact I'm highly pissed that I have had mine for about 4 or 5 months and don't play it too often, give it 10 mins to warm up and down and it blew a tube on me yesterday! But, still, that is totally unrelated and the Rockerverb is a great sounding amp.

My GAS is really all effects-based since I am an effects *****, have a great amp and am building a top quality guitar. Mine is:
Line 6 FM4
Napalm 69 TSA Clone (with switchable loop)
Death By Audio Harmonic Transformer
Empress SuperDelay

in no particular order.

Other people have posted their GAS so I might as well:

- Fender Standard Telecaster
- Ibanez RG1570
- Boss Chorus (forgot model)
- Boss PS-5

The problem? I bought a DSL401 on credit and my mum will only let me keep £20 per month, I have to pay back £80 a month. She didn't like the idea of me saving for a guitar, getting it, then saving to pay off the amp. Also, I'll only get one guitar, so I'll see how I feel at the end of the year.
#31
my GAS

1) Gibson ES-335 in Cherry Red
2) Marshall Bluesbreaker (or a replica amp)

4) Fender Stratocaster, Eric Clapton sig.

Yeah, I just want a good set of speakers for my CBB. That's my biggest GAS issue at the moment.
The stock speakers are so "blah", I think the amp deserves some good speakers.

^what's in there now?....wasn't that amp kinda pricey?

I need one warehouse clone and some more patch cords but that's not my Gas list.

I think I need to splurge on myself and get a good set of lessons
#40
Might as well post my GAS list-
Fender Vibolux=$800 used
Tube change/speaker wap=???
Old Skool Fuzz w/different transistor + EJ Mod=$95
RMC4 Picture Wah=$200?
Fender TC-90 or Gibson Blueshawk-$500-$800

And just supplies and tools for a Pine Esquire Build I've been really wanting to get a start on. I'm also considering selling my Classic 50 and getting Traynor YCV15WR and swapping the speaker. I just want something British-voiced that I could crank up easier. I'd love to get the Ceriatone 18 watt, but I don't like the idea of spending that much really.
