hey guys, so i play acoustic, electric and bass and i was wondering when finger picking an acoustic .. how the hell do you do it, i just cant get my fingers in the right spots, i have fat stubs :P

any links or anything much appreciated

For the most part, use your thumb on the 3 lowest strings, then use your index, middle, and ring fingers for the top 3 (they each have their own string). You aren't really going to be using your pinky.

Thats basically the basic technique you should know, but can be changed a bit when you develop, or put in a different song or style.
