it was pretty good. i liked a lot of the licks but sometimes the licks got a little repetitive. that's quite a lineup of gear you've got there btw. lol.

yeah, the penatonic lick i used was a little repetitive. I was using my gibson les paul standard on that video because most of my other guitars are at my dads. I was using my Mesa Boogie Mark IV though. My webcam is a piece of crap though so the soudn quality isn't the best. Thanks for the crit.

I couldn't really hear the track, so it really sounded like a flurry of notes.

Your playing is very good though. Some of the bends were a little over the top (I think you know what I'm taking about).

I was kept interested by playing, though, which is a good sign.

Good stuff, man. Only problem is repetition. It can't keep me interested for a whole 2 minutes, but I guess there's only so much you can do with a repeating backing track. I checked out your other video, too. Better IMO. Would like to see something out of you that is pre-written instead of improv. I know I don't improv the most amazing, but my thought out and written solos are pretty cool. I don't think the bends were out of hand, by the way.

Cool thanks a lot for the reply. Yeah, I know it got somewhat repetitive, but I thought they were all really clean runs, so I decided to put it up. I have some stuff written that's more metal style, but my webcam's audio is too bad to really get a good recording of it. The audio is super muddy in drop-d. I have a lot of the melodies written out, but it's for 2 guitars, so I might make 2 videos, one for rythym, one for lead. It's a really cool song to me, and I put a lot of thought and time into it. I can't wait to put it up. If only I could record it as good as Erock... Thanks again man.
