I bought an Epiphone Firebird Studio a few months back, and the time came a week or so ago that i finally broke a string. Me, and all my other guitarist friends cant work out how to do it, someone must know?!

and aren't all guitars pretty much the same in stringing: through the bridge, into the nut and the machien heads. if you have a tuning locks then loosen them, and if it feeds through the guitar then feed the strings through the guitar. guitars with floyd roses are meant to be slightly harder to string coz you have to chop the ball off and tighten it in place, but even that can't be too hard can it?

Yeah im a bit of a noob on guitar, ive only been playing a few years, my friends have just never owned a guitar like this, they have fenders, keeping in mind were all 16

I cant get the broken string out, thats what im having trouble with, I know how to string a guitar, i just cant get the string out,, ive loosened the tuner all the way but it seems the string is inside

and i mentioned the humbuckers just to specify the guitar incase anyone had the same guitar, i really dont care if ive said the wrong thing, or if i sound like a bit of a 'noob', because i generally dont care what you all think of me, i just came for some advise on a help forum

i propably wasnt too clear in what i was asking, i know how to string a guitar, i just dont know how to get this ****er out, it seems quite complicated, it seems to be stuck in the head.

and yeah i tried google, couldnt find anything, thought it would be better to ask some experienced guitarists instead,

Pull. Hard. Get some pliers for grip if you have to.

Looks more like as if you'd have to pull the entire tuner out because it's "underneath."

Thats what I was thinking, which leads me to wonder how id go my restringing this altogether, im not that inclined to go at it with plyers, because I'd assumed you shouldnt have to
