Yea I know the chords and its key (G) but what scale does he use in the solo or mode and does it change key? Thx for any help

I looked at the solo and I thought it looked like E minor [the very end really made it look like it because that would make the D# at the end make a lot of sense (harmonic minor. if anything is in a minor key, it just about ALWAYS goes to the parallel harmonic and/or melodic minor at some point)]. The rest of the song looks like G major though. I don't know the song though so my opinion doesn't mean anything.

Anywho, it doesn't change keys or anything. If G is the tonal center, it's in G major, if E is the tonal center, it's in E minor. There's nothing crazy in the solo, it stays in key and everything.

thx but what do you mean by it ALWAYS includes harmonic minor etc. thx
