I have a Fender Princeton 650 solid state 65w piece of crap.. Me and my band were practicing a few weeks ago and I had my volume almost at 10 trying to keep up with our other guitarists JCM 900.

My amp starts cutting out every few seconds, and it gets worse. It keeps crackling. Finally it just completely cuts out and there's no sound but a semi-loudish buzz/hum. Nothing I do changes this, I've unplugged the guitar, volume knob does nothing. All it does is hum.

Anyone have any idea at all what I should do?

Coulda um... Blown the speaker?

And also what he said, your amp is probably dead.
