hello, i have a question about these "etch-a-sketch" things. (i have never tried one)

so as far as i know, you draw stuff on it, but i've seen some pictures and it seems like there are two knobs on the thing... and my question is: how do you draw a picture with two knobs?

i hope i explained well enough

you know i never owned an etch-a-sketch and i've always wandered the same thing

one knob controls vertical movement
and the other controls horizontal movement

one knob moves the line up and down and one moves the knob left and right, which is why it's so impressive when people draw realistic boobs on them.
#5
one knob runs the line horizontal, the other runs it vertical, and combining them makes various angles.

it's some pretty amazing technology

One knob controls the line's vertical placement and the other it's horizontal placement. You have to be extremely patient to make anything worthwhile on one of those.
#8
one of the knobs controls if the black line goes up or down
the other controls left to right

they're tricky sons of....

One knob controls a vertical axle, the other controls a horizontal axle. Then, it just scratches and draws in whatever point whatever's inside is.

so... everything you draw is based on ONE single line?

Yes, a never ending line...untill you run out of room or someone shakes it and destroys the half a boob you have

Simply...you have a little dot on the screen that you move around...as it moves it leaves a "trail" behind it which is your line. One knob moves the dot up and down and the other moves it left to right.

I'm not totally convinced that this thread is NOT a joke..... but its

I once "colored" a whole screen of one and all it is are these bracket deals that move (pbviously) when you turn the knob, its really simple how it works,
