So I have a $50 (US) gift card for musiciansfriend and I've been toying with the idea of buying some quality headphones.

I would use them for recording a variety of instruments and for playing through my bass amp late at night. I'd like closed back, comfortable padding, and exceptional enough sound quality to justify not just using ipod earbuds.

Suggestions?

But I don't cum blood.
Unless by "cum blood" you mean
"HAVE WHITE HAIR ON MY BALLS".
In which case, yes, I do cum blood.

sennheiser, generally no because they have a LOT of dodgy models going around, especially in the low to mid range
