Ok i know this all matters on guitar but what do they do that makes it great and also how would you know its good just wondering

A good bridge pickup should be able to handle feedback, overdrive/distortion, provides a good tone and doesnt create string pull or anything of that kind.

It's a magnet they're all going to pull man. You want a noiseless bridge pickup and a creamy neck pickup that blends notes well (alnico 2 is great for that btw).

well some create alot more pull than others. it kills ur sustain.
