hey, im new here
but i just got a 12 string and i was wondering if cords and stuff are the same and all that, like i know the little strings are tuned an octave up except for b and e but so does that change anything or r they the same?

It's just like normal only you have 2 strings to fret instead of 1...

Think of it as every string repeating.

all the chords are the same and stuff (like everyone said).
BUT, you can make it even better by tuning the octave string to a different note besides the octave.
like a 5th or something.
but the problem is some notes on that string dont have a 5th in that scale so it gets VERY complicated.
when i turn 18 im buying a double neck gibson SG. (one six string, one 12 string)
its gonna be so awsome.
