This.

UP looks terrible on a resume. It makes you look really lazy.

Heh, I'm taking classes online through Devry University.

I don't have time to go on site to a college. I've not heard any bad things about the university of phoenix.

But deni, you already have a degree. You're just taking classes for more techie knowledge or fun, right?

YA I was really considering Devry University online. Ive already going to community college, im just tired of trying to revolve around plus half my class at this college is online anyways, so Im just figuring why not transfer to an online college and finish up.

Is Devry a good one to do online?

I have an associates...I'm finishing the last two years for a bachelors.

I was lucky enough to get a job before I finished school, and luckier still that my career weighs work experience as well as college education.

My sister teaches online courses - she used to teach in person/regular class format - started doing the online courses about 3 or 4 years ago. She is accredited, has a Phd in what she teaches (communication). She says the people who take her classes either live where there are no colleges, or they have no time to go on-site (single moms), or their English is poor, or they can't afford to take classes on-site (online is less expensive). If you don't meet that criteria, I'd suggest NOT using online because in an interview you will be asked why you chose doing it online.

Ah, I thought you had a bachelors. So Devry can get you a BS?

Yessir. I'm taking classes in a program for a bachelors in technical management. I want to combine my IT and networking skills with a business management degree so I can have a better shot at a CIO or director of IT type position.

I at least want to be a department manager so I can really make some dough.
