Is it in any way bad for the guitar if you constantly switch the tuning? Can it damage the nut or the strings?

I've heard that it can shorten the life of the strings but I'm not sure to be honest.

I know for acoustic guitar, it will make the neck bow and you'll have to get it straigtened. Though you should already do that anyway every 6 months since the truss rod just tends to bow as you play also.

imo, it wouldn't make a difference on a decent guitar, might stress the strings quicker though. (Wow, you have to adjust your truss rod every 6 mos. Xyab???)
