the new jaguar hh classic special or something looks nice...except the price is still fairly hefty for someone like me

but im pretty tall...and its 24 inches
i know it doesnt matter, since anyone can play any scale length...but i like to leave the guitar hanging fairly low since i like to leave my strumming arm loose and not tensed up...which makes it hard to chords down on the neck

so would 24 inches be too short?

yes. always get a full size guitar unless you are 8 years old or a total pussy

Standard scale length for a fender guitar is 25.5 inches, the jaguar scale is only 1.5 inches shorter. Maybe you should know what your talking about before you make yourself look stupid.

Uhh, 24 is a pretty standard scale size, 22 is short. I love the feel of the twenty four scare guitars, then again in used to my les paul which is a 24.75. Just try it and see if you like it.
