Far Behind - Candlebox or All Apologies - Nirvana

Yeah, they are good. I like better Far behind, alto All apologies is great. Mine favourite are Nutshell - Chains or Hunger Strike - Temple of a Dog.

Hmm, Dumb by Nirvana or Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog, though I never really pegged the words "grunge" and "ballad" to be in the same sentance...
#5
would Rooster by Alice in Chains be a grunge ballad? (grunge ballad, wtf?)

It's an amazing song, one of my favs...

What's the definition for ballad? a crappy 80's hair pop song? I'm confused.
Oct. 20th, 2009: New guitar AND front row for Mars Volta.

Is that a ukulele in your pants, or did you just rip ass to the tune of "Aloha Oi"?

I met Sonic Youth on June 30th, and Mars Volta on Oct 20th.

Something In The Way by Nirvana always gets me. But is that really a ballad? In fact, is it even grunge? I mean, it's by a grunge band, but it's not your typical grunge song.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

Confused? Good.

You mean "Alice in Chains" and "Temple of the Dog."

Mad Season and Screaming Trees are the only bands that do this sort of thing that I like.

As far as ballads go, you can't go wrong with Say Hello 2 Heaven.

Then, you got Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns, which is like a ballad. But how can any of you forget Black by Pearl Jam?

Yes that's what I meant. Black is a great song, one of best Pearl Jam's songs they ever made alto Ocean is great one too.

I don't get how everyone's forgotten Black Hole Sun.

I totally forgot about this one Call me a Dog by Temple of the Dog
