I have been looking into to getting a slver jubilee...the 1x12 combo...thinking it was the better amp and reading also that its probaly the best voiced amp marshalls put out...but i was wondering really what the difreence between the jcm 800s and jubilees r....do they sound very similar or does the jubilee live up to its hype and pwn it
The jubilee has a solid state preamp.

The jubilee has a solid state preamp.

no. just no.
it has diods in between the tubes in the preamp, but it is still a tube preamp and tube poweramp.

Kramer Focus 3000
Ibanez ATK300
Rocktron Chameleon
Digitech IPS33B
Ibanez WH10
Korg Pitchblack
Line6 UX2
Yeah also the diodes in the Silver Jubilee are supposedly very well implented in the circuit.

A lot of people tend to mix up the Silver Jubilee as a JCM800. They are actually rather different design wise really!
