Alright, so I've been playing guitar for about 5 years now and have become more and more interested in playing bass. I'm looking for a beginners bass at around $200 (I would actually rather substitute a used bass with a few dents than a new cheap bass with no dents). Any suggestions?

Thanks, Kevin

Does that $200 cover a bass amp as well? A guitar amp will make a $5000 bass sound like ass, and damage the amp into the bargin.

Other than that, read the FAQ.
