Sugar to the Moon
by Chris Maroun

I'm addicted to your misconceptions
Your pretty lies are candy coated
Like a nicotine flavored obsession
With another pretty average girl
You seem happy where you are
I'm happy when you're there too
I can finallly take a puff from
A life that's realer* without you

How many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon?
One spoon with you, but only when it's true
And it never is, never was, and never will be
I'll wave my hand and blow you out of me

I'm addicted to your personalities
Your pretty masks are decorated
Like a parade of heartbreakers
All breakin the same one
You seemed happy when you were here
I know I was half right
But then I wokeup, to my broken radio
That once played our song all night

How many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon?
One spoon with you, but only when it's true
And it never is, never was, and never will be
I'll wave my hand and blow you out of me

You're so comfortable when
You bend the truth till you break it
We're so unpredictable
It was gone before we knew it

*Yes I know that's not a real word

hey,
I have to admit I usually don't like these kind of writing but this one was special!

in my opinion, your expressions in this song are great! very original too
it seem very happy and optimistic at the first place , though sugar and other words reminds me of something happy
but has some point that tells you that is not completely happy, and has some cynical and a little bit of sorrow too

I really like it. good job!

btw - I like the use of the word "realer" even though it's not a real word, it only shows how original this sing is
