Yeah, I've always thought he was over-compensating for something...

Judging by the popularity and lifespan of the drum forum, I'd say there are no drummers.

Must be.

The site isn;t much good though, as all drummers are illiterate.

Ehh what? Ther is no drum forum anymore, besides all there was in there was youtube and Scrubs.

i started drumming a few years before i got to guitar. guitars kind of taken over since then tho, i dont drum a lot anymore.
and i dont get why you cant talk about drums on a guitar site. its not like anyone talks about playing guitar in the pit so who cares.

Well I'm a drummer - but i graduated to guitar and singing... surely that must count for something? I am part of the species of endangered Drumtarist!

same here! i tihnk a lot of successful guitarists have started on drums: kurt cobain did (i know he couldnt really play but still), j mascis (my favorite guitarist! even if no one here knows who he is) and lots of others.

oh cool!Sjada - i don't feel half as bad anymore - though i have to be honest the whole drumming thing has really helped with playing rhythms on guitar (i know that's probably a no brainer but i wonder if it's the same with anyone else...). I mean i know people who play but can't even read the note timings... I'm very happy i started out as a drummer TBH.
