I just downloaded DOSbox and now I have no idea what to do.

I read the FAQ on the site but it just confused the hell outa me so can someone please explain what I have to do?

Basically I wanna play windows 95/98 computer games on my XP. So...how do I do that? Can DOSbox do that? If it can then how do I get it to do that?

Please I gotta play my old favorites again!!!!

I did that but now what? Can I just put in the disc and play the game?

Ok....this whole mounting thing has me confused. It says I have Drive Z mounted as Internal Virtual Drive and Drive D as CDRom f :\

So what am I missing?

Can't you just put the disk in then go to my computer where it says "MidTown Madness" (or what ever game you are playing MTM is the best imo) and right click on it and click "properties" and then go to the "compatibility" tab and click "run in compatibility for Windows 98 (or 2000 or whatever)?

I haven't tried that, but I'd think that would work... its worth a try...

Yea I tried that and I didn't work. I did some research and found DOSbox but i can't get it to work. I pretty sure I mounted it right because the game is showing up in the directory that I mounted it to in DOSbox but now i don't know how to get the game to actually play...
