What does you being Scottish have anything to do with you being a fan of the Dropkick Murphys?

I am sick of people trying to up their heritage points by listening to DKM and Flogging Molly... If anything Dropkick Murphys should be more associated with the blue collar working class than Ireland...

CBGB wants to be famous like the others such as Green Day and Offspring. They don't want to be a underground punk band.

To BostonLacrosse: Especially considering they're from Massachusetts.

In a way, they're kinda like those guido kids who are like 5th generation Americans but go on and on about being Italian.

I don't like 'em but I'm not a hater.

They were kinda fun live.

They did that stupid invite all the chicks onstage thing though.

Then they invited everyone.

Then someone threw up on my friend.

I have a Dropkick Murphys poster on my wall, but it's just to fill the space between my Pulp Fiction poster and my Dead Kennedys poster.

I still have a Blink and a Sum 41 poster on my wall from 8th grade. Why? Because I'm too lazy to buy new ones, take these down, and hang up the new ones.

I love Dropkick! In fact, I saw them live a few weeks back-- whenever the 19th was. It was amazing and even better, Mighty Mighty Bosstones opened!

True, but I'd prefer not to have a poster on my wall.

On the topic of blink 182 posters we haven't gotten rid of yet, I still have the same screen name from sixth or seventh grade, which has "182" in it. I should probably get a new one before I lose punx points or something, but I'm too lazy.

I has a B 182 poster in my basement.

My bro put it up (for realz).

Now he's going away to college but it will remain up.

On a side note my younger brother beat me out of the house. At least I can look at porn a whole lot easier! *-)

I never listened to blink 182

you are missing out on their expert lyricism.

check out these gems:

" he is such a dick "

" you are a stupid ***** "

" He's a player, diarrhea giver "

I really don't like them that much (DKM, not blink 182, I actually have no problem with blink 182, although I don't listen to them). Flogging Molly are much better, imo.
