This woman's dog died so she paid 50,000 dollars to have it cloned to 'bring it back'.

Does anyone else think this is a bit messed up? It won't actually be the same dog so what's the point?
TO = used for expressing motion or direction toward a point, person, place, or thing approached and reached, as opposed to from

TWO = the number 2

TOO = in addition; also; furthermore; to an excessive extent or degree

yeah it wouldnt really be the same dog, would have been cheaper to get a new one

That's either really awesome or really strange...
But still, that is really pricey. Kinda stupid on her part. She could've just bought another dog and saved a ton of money.

Oh your god. The future is now. What next? Clone Einstein? Ghandi? HITLER?! ok, im getting a bit ahead of myself. First we clone Lassie.
#19
This is stupid, she's cloned a dog that dies, that will die again. it's going to hurt her too much, and it disrupts nature. The only logical use for clones imo is for soldiers, clone the Shwarzennegger, Stallone, and Snipes from the early days to have a super army and hey presto: end of war coz no one can beat that army :P

Um, is the dog imitating her or is she imitating the dog?

Either way, this is dumb. Life should be natural, not scientific.

So what wait if there's some sort of unforeseen effect here, and the dog retains it's knowledge from it's former life but it's cognitive skills expand to many times whats natural and it becomes super intelligent!?!?!?!
