Green = Earphones/Headphones

while the Red has a Mic symbol in it???? Is it possible to record guitar sounds from an amplifier if i connect the Green to the Amplifier and the Red to my Recorder(an PMP with camera) ??????

cos i dont want to record with the use of an external micing, the loudness disturbes the people at my house.

is there a way i could record with the use of this Headphones??? what exactly is the Red jack for?????

First:
Green = Headphones
Blue = Line In
Red = Microphone

Do you actually want to record something that came out of your computer?
If so:
use "stereo mix" in the "record control" panel or plug a wire that goes from Green to Blue or Red

EDIT:
If Not:
plug a wire that goes from the "headphone out" or "line out" of your amp to the:
Headphone out -> Mic In
Line Out -> Line In

No, is it possible to record directly from an Guitar Amplifier to a Mini Recorder like an MP4 player or the Portable Media Player without the use of external micing????
