I agree with the above. Additionally, you can find some chord-melody standard arrangements tabbed out if you just google it, especially if you use actual tune names.

Srsly though, I'd recommend learning to read music, getting a real book, learning some chord construction, LISTENING to jazz, and learning to comp as well as solo.

And by real book, I mean theres a book and its actually called "The Real Book"

And its lead sheets for every jazz song you could want to play. A lead sheet is just the melody written out and then the chord changes above it.

Do yourself a favor and use your ear to figure out a few jazz heads.
