You haven't really asked us to do anything.

60s: Clapton, Hendrix, Joplin, Lennon, Morrison?
70s: :too many examples to list:
80s: Micheal Stipe? Bono?
90s: Cobain, De Le Rocha, Morello?

Were there really any rebellious musicians in the 80's?

Does anybody remember the 80's?

Bono...yeah, probably.

It's hard, but you also have to separate great musicians from rebellious people. I don't know if Stipe would be considered for that role. So, I guess my complete list would be:

1960's - Jim Morrison
1970's - John Lennon
1980's - Bono
1990's - Kurt Cobain
2000's - Eh....(Help me here)

U2 were one of the leaders in the alternative rock explosion that went on in the '80s. It was rebellious in relation to previous pop music.

'00s is kind of hard.

EDIT FOR GREAT JUSTICE: Chris Cornell? Matt Bellamy? Peter Hayes?

I should stick Manson in. He got to much handed to him, for no real reason. I might stick him in for 00's.
