I currently have an Ibanez RGR321 with INF1 and INF2 pickups that were included when i bought the guitar.
My amp is a roland micro cube
I feel that the pickups lack "punch" and sound very thing with distortion
i mainly play metal, so is it worth to change the pickups to for example Dimarzio D activators or some other kind of good passive pickups for metal?
Guitar: Ibanez RGR321 EXBK

Amp: Bugera 6260 head + 4x12 cab

You expect punch from a 5 watt ss amp? There is not a pickup in this world that would change that. Get a new amp and afterwards you can buy pickups.
