I don't know if this is the right section to pst this in, but here we go:

I'm looking to eventually purchase recording equipment for my computer. I'd like to run everything into the computer.

Heres what I'll be recording:

- Vocal
- Acoustic Guitar
- Electric Guitar
- Bass (Eventually)*
- Drums (Eventually)*

Budget: $500 (This Includes all mics. equipment, and software)

*NOTE: I want need mics immediately for those. I just want to have the capabilty on the hardware and software to do this.

If this helps, my style on the acoustic will have a more "pop" edge to it. While my electric style is Blues/Jazz.

Thanks if you can help!

^ +1 this should be in riffs and recording

subsequently they will need to know ALL the sound gear you have available to you (amps guitars, cables etc) also what kind of computer you have.
