Hi,

I'm looking for the right Blues Major Scale. I've seen few different patterns on the Web and just want to make sure which one is right. I think the right one is the one using the Pentatonic Major along with the Blues note like the Pentatonic Minor scale available in this site lesson section. But I'm not sure.

Thanks UG's

Guitar and bass basics. Bloody hell, a year long membership and you're still making that mistake?

The blues scale is just the minor pentatonic scale with a b5 added in
goes like (in key of F)
1-4 (low E string)
1-2-3
1-3
1-3-4
1-4
1-4
