So I have a B-52 AT100 head with the matching cab. On this head there are two inputs, one labeled high and the other labeled low.

What's the difference between these inputs? They don't seem to have much of a difference in tone. And would it be okay if I used both of them at once, say me and a friend playing together through the same amp?
High is high-gain and Low is low-gain.
