Hey guys i will probably getting a new amp in the next year or so but i just want to start getting some ideas. I have an epiphone les paul and i want an amp thats atleast 20 tube watts and $300 or less. I would prefer if the amp wasnt fender because all the ones ive tried at GC through an Epi Lp gave me too thin of a sound. I mainly play classic rock, but i also play lots of modern stuff. I would like a heavy, warm tone that can complement my guitar nicely. Thanks... sry if its too specific... and i would mind buying used.

Blackheart has a 15w combo, which is gonna be the closest your gonna get w/out going used, and even then im not too sure youll find much. Apparently, Blackharts are great for Classic rock, even tho they need to be cranked for OD im pretty sure.

Cranked, yes, but not a whole lot... also, it's a very loud 15 watts, you should have no trouble in a band. But if you need more, Epiphone has a 18w tube combo coming soon.
Epiphone Dot
DIY Esquire w/Neovin Power Rock pickup
Vox AC30VR 212
Arion MTE-1 (LED clipping diodes added)
Vox Tonelab LE

By high-gain I don't mean stupid stuff. I just mean styles like Motley Crue or Iron Maiden
