Ok so i was lookin at the local craigslist and i found this http://charlotte.craigslist.org/msg/784166402.html and im wondering if this i a good guitar for for playing in Drop C and D (and i mean drop C and D as when u de tune all the strings not just the E string) also which gauge would be best for that ?

dude,,,it will probubly play B standard fine..your good...

it will go to C standard and definitely play in D standard

drop D = DADGBE (or DADGBD)
D Standard (tuned down 2 semisteps) = DGCFAD

Drop C = CGCFAD
C standard (tunes down 4 semisteps) = CFA#D#GC

I have no idea which of the tunings you mean...

and yeah, it'll probably keep the tunings just fine
