Hi, Im making my own custom fender. I have just screwed the neck to the body and realised that the scratch plate is wonky, several screws for the scratch plate are going to miss the body and go into the holes for the picksups. Also the Scratch plate is set to far to the left for the trem. Any ideas what i can do ? Ill upload some pics later .. thanks

The easyiest solution would be to make your own scratchplate so that it does fit, I think - probably easier than building a new guitar to match the scratchplate!

Have you tried out the guitar yet? even just without any electronics? If it was me I'd make sure it the rest of the guitar was OK before carrying on - the fact the scratchplate doesn't fit would set the alarm bells ringing for me...

Coudlnt you just drill some new holes and move the scratchplate? or take it off but that would be weird.
