Threnody To The Victims Of Hiroshima

I'm not sure if much people have heard this piece but it was the most disturbing piece I've listened to in my life.

Yesterday in my music class my teacher was showing us some stuff then she went to turn it on, it had to be loud to get the full force of it, then when she was saying it was very confronting I thought it would be nothing then when she turned it on, I felt horrible. It was just like horrible to listen to then after it I was like shaken a bit, and this is the only time it's ever happened to me.

Has anyone else listened to anything that has made them feel this way?

I know, there was another bit to it where the violinists were like hitting their instruments to make percussion sounds

yeah heard it in music, we had it as loud as we could, pretty scary,
all the high pitched sounds are meant to recreate the screams of people i think.

Sounds like a lot of it was used as sound in LOST

when it comes to girls, the best thing to do is to just give up on trying to understand them.

cant live with 'em, cant live without certain parts of 'em.

Those bastards.

And no, it doesn't "scare me". Mostly because I know it's just instruments composed by one man as an interpretation of the bombing of hiroshima...

Still, it makes me think.

Not really scary at all, well to me. But it does give off a horrific/tragedic feel.

i'm scared to listen to it now

EDIT: it wasn't that bad, but it makes me think that everyone always seems to forget that nagasaki was bombed too, not just hiroshima.
this is my sig. there are many like it, but this is mine.
