Thinking of buying a fender want peoples opinions on:
A)Stratocaster

and

B)Telecaster

Running it through a Marshall, play mostaly metal and rock

you need the strat, teles are great but more suited to country style music.
I've been imitated so well I've heard people copy my mistakes.

HSS Strat IMO

Yep.

Unless you get a Telecaster with humbuckers. I find them easier to play since i always hit the bridge pickup on strats when i palm mute.

I feel like you, adambauman31, and i are going into all the same threads

Depends on what you want, I like Jaguars.

You're looking to buy one, and you say you're playing through a Marshall, which Marshall?

Could it be a *gasp* MG?

according to your profile, you have a "fender: fender squire strat" (its not a fender!), i guess that means you got a strat? or are you looking to get a proper fender?
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
